You try holding the earth on your back for all eternity while balancing on the carapace of a restless spacefaring tortoise!

When I did a google search for an image of the missing elephants, there were quite a few similar images along these same lines. But yeah, I kind of liked this particular one too.

One thing I never understood... if some people believed the Earth was flat, and that water would simply pour off the side of the earth as it's doing in this image... where exactly does the Earth get new water from? Had they come up with an explanation for that? I mean, I realize there's a seriously limited group of people that actually believe this, but I'm just curious if they had bothered to explain this.

Tomorrow, only in the great state of Arizona at exactly 12 noon, Ol' Sol will be directly overhead, just as God intended.

The rest of you poor deluded suckers will have to wait until after lunch (for those of you in California that would be after mimosas and avocado toast with bean sprouts) for the Vernal Equinox.

But the real question is: From where in the US Constitution does the Federal Government derive the power to dictate to the states how they must set their clocks?

Now understand that the Vernal Equinox is a completely different animal from the Chevy Equinox. You are going to have to wait quite a bit longer for that infernal Equinox because not only did we voluntarily cede out authority to a bunch aristocrats, but we freely gave away our manufacturing advantage to the demon seed of Genghis Khan.

Doesn't that just look scrumptious?

Well, it's applicable to that sandwich also.

All of my PCs are Windows 10 with one exception. I keep an old desktop in my basement workshop for some mild net browsing and car parts info. That system is still running XP so I must be very brave or very stupid. I concede that both may be true but I did not want to waste a functioning computer.

Brave probably if they knew your history, stupid isn't even within artillery range. But, some might think a bit excessive if they saw your collection of vehicles, that I might say.
Just pull'n your chain Nelson. Nothing but respect here for you.
