"We all remember"? You really think that Rush Limbaugh's death was a significant event in world history? Sorry, but it hardly rates up there with JFK's assassination.

And you actually feel that certain members of PFF (me in particular) are somehow responsible for what the great unwashed have posted elsewhere? Get real.

I'm also not responsible for the crap sites you visit.

Where was this "demand"? Let's see a quote.

While conservatives pushed back upon such crass behavior coming from the left, I never once saw a liberal asking his fellow travelers to tone down the vile rhetoric.

So to now see leftists demanding civility and respect when one of their political leaders pass away strikes me as more than just a bit hypocritical.

When Patrick called out Wichita for having posted such a stupid remark about the passing of Dianne Feinstein, he did not connect Wichita with any particular group or ideology,

What we have here, from otakudude, is the unthinking "Politicization of Everything."

It's a step backwards—not forwards.

Please don't use "Limbaugh" in the same sentence with "Reagan".

Limbaugh was a provocateur attack dog who lived to insult and demean people. When a person like that dies he deserves all the hate comments. Death does not wipe out all the horrible disgusting things he said.

Reagan was President of the United States. I did not agree with all his policies, but he did not brag about being complete ******* like Limbaugh did. When he died I did not deify him like many on the right, but I did not insult him either.

So do "good people with a moral compass" generally live by the motto "If they did it then I am going to do it?"

Asking for a friend.

I had no interest in connecting Wichita's tasteless comment to any particular group, political or otherwise. It honestly never even occurred to me to do so. Mocking the physical appearance of a 90 year old deceased woman whose body hadn't even cooled down yet just struck me as a disgusting thing for any individual to do.

it is indeed a crass thing to do but individuals on your side of the aisle have made such activities a standard practice whenever a public persona who promoted a conservative ideology passes away.

Liberals can't turn a blind eye to such activities and then clutch their pearls when some conservative does the same in turn.

That's the only part of your post that's worthwhile repeating. The rest is just irrelevant BS. You're not going to hold me accountable for what might be posted by unknown persons on unknown forums. Give your head a good shake, man.

Would you care to call out and publicly chastise fredtoast for the comment he made about Limbaugh's passing within this very thread?

In case you don't remember, he said "When a person like that dies he deserves all the hate comments."

Unless you're willing to reprimand one of your own on crass behavior, you effectively stand with them and their actions.

"One of my own"??? Fredtoast is not my child. Have you completely lost your grip?

You'd be one of the last people on this forum that I'd take any instruction from. You seem to be entirely removed from reality.

I've been poking around and I can't find anything about this. He was strong in his opinions but I never saw him overtly insult anyone, much less snipe like everyone seems to do when politics are discussed. What happened?

The entire forum was glad to see him gone... except for you apparently. Maybe you can track him down wherever he now promotes his brand of nonsense, and exchange pleasantries with him.

Thank you for proving my point though I have to admit you did so a lot faster than I thought you would.

Go clutch your pearls some more.
