I worked for the government for a decade, and never in my wildest dreams could I imagine making a localized decision on a policy that effects the public, and making it conditional as to whether someone was one political party or not. I mean... ok, if they were Communist, I draw the line there... but not as it applies to life or death things here in the United States...
