With respect to the current moment, reminiscing about "Ike" and his famous warning about the "military industrial complex" is like talking about "gin and beer."
I applaud both the sagacity and the efficiency of what the Biden administration has been doing to transfer impressive quantities of bombs, bullets and the like to Israel, to replenish and plus up the "kinetic" capabilities of the IDF.
Even if Israel doesn't need more of these lethal military supplies to complete their military operations in Gaza, I think that "more" is very much in order as a way to further deter Hezbollah and its Iranian overlords from the temptations of scaling up their provocations against Israel from Hezbollah's stronghold in southern Lebanon.
Can you say otherwise?
