This is a deeper dive into what some experts are saying about the physical brain abnormalities that were discovered during a postmortem examination of the Lewiston perpetrator. And this:
quote | Sean Hodgson, Card’s close friend and a fellow reservist, said Thursday that safety was a top priority at their training range and the blast exercises were well controlled.
“In my opinion it’s one of the safest ranges to be on,” Hodgson said. “I never heard him complain about the blasts.”
Six weeks before the shooting, Hodgson texted an Army supervisor about his growing concerns about Card, saying, “I believe he’s going to snap and do a mass shooting.”
That Sept. 15 message came months after relatives warned police that Card had grown paranoid and said they were concerned about his access to guns.
Card was hospitalized in a psychiatric unit for two weeks in July after shoving a fellow reservist and locking himself in a motel room. In August, the Army barred him from handling weapons while on duty and declared him non-deployable. |

Do you realize how absurd this argument sounds?
Can't have DUI laws or laws against public intoxication because Baptist judges won't follow the law.
Can't have laws against racial discrimination because minority judges won't follow the law.
Can't have laws against domestic violence because women judges will not follow the law.
YOU CAN NOT SIMULTANIOUSLY CLAIM TO SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION AND THEN REFUSE TO OBEY THE COURTS SYSTEM AND LAWS ESTABLISHED UNDER THE CONSTITUTION.

No they do not violate the Constitution. Red Flag laws have been upheld by the Supreme Court as long as the protect due process. Red flag laws have been in effect in some states for over 20 years.

The Supreme Court also upheld slavery at one time.

Ah yes, a two year old thread where you made a groundless accusation...

You're not exactly building a stronger case here regarding your mental stability and/or right to posses firearms.

I was "done" in that thread, and was quite prepared to move on, but you just couldn't leave it be. You make it sound like I was chasing after you. It's all still there to see and read. If you mention me in a post, I'll most likely respond... "done" or not. Your revisionist history doesn't wash.[This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 03-13-2024).]

As do I! When read with no preconceived notions, it's quite illuminating.
