Should I Stay or Should I Go? (Page 1/4)

If America (or the country you call home) were to be invaded by a foreign enemy, would you stay and fight?

Yes or No?

I'll stay and fight, or at least wrestle.

A radio/internet individual named Patrick Slattery has a statement of "I'd rather be ruled by the Chinese....." Then he adds that we don't get a choice of who rules over us.

Apparently he has a doctorate in PoliSci with a minor in physics. He also has an Asian wife, who is Korea I believe. He's pretry well versed on Russia and the USSR.

To the question, we're invaded daily across our Southern border. Would I fight to stop this if my country and nation was allowed to? Probably, yes in some activist manner. Would I fight the Russians? Probably not. The Chinese? Idk.

ETA, if I were Ukranian and invaded by Russia? Probably not.

To the best of my abilities I would stay and fight.
Kind of hard to knock drowns out of the sky and do anything about bombs, but let one of those ****ers run out of gas on my street

What exactly would we in the USA be fighting for, is my question? All I can think of is the natural rights as stated in the Constitution and my economic comfort. The rights are being trampled on by our masters. They're stealing our wealth too. I'm not fighting for those people.

I'm not much of a fighter, I'm getting old and I wasn't that good at it when I was young.

But I could work in logistics and take things to the front lines. I'd be 100% willing to put my life on the line to get supplies to the fighters, and I'd be effective as long as I didn't have to follow the rules the Military puts on their guys.

In a war time environment, the "rules" usually become flexible. With my lack of mobility, I would also not be of much use unless used as a sacrificial sniper. But, saddled up in the seat of an armed AH-1, I could do some damage. The very unlikely possibility of a ground war in CONUS is just that, very unlikely. No nation on earth has the fire power to compete with the US on our own ground and not take huge casualties in a conventional ground war. The main reason our constitution guarantees us the right to bear arms. Just my opinion but, the only way to defeat the US is through nuclear release or economically. Though, civil war between the different cultures/groups could destroy us from within. There have been forces trying to bankrupt us for a very long time.

All one has to do is read this forum to know that there are people within our borders who hate the USA and are actively trying to split us apart.

Agreed but, thankfully they are few and we know where to find them.
