"India Accidentally Fired Missile Into Pakistan, Says [the India] Defence Ministry"

quote
According to Pakistan, the missile flew more than 100 km [60 miles] inside their airspace, at an altitude of 40,000 feet and at three times the speed of sound, before it landed. There was no warhead on the missile so it did not detonate. [But it destroyed or at least damaged a house in Pakistan. No one was killed or injured.]

Technical malfunction during "routine" maintenance.

Pakistan's national government took notice of the incident in a mildly worded public remark from a Pakistani military spokesperson.
