They should ban Kamala Harris for making a joke of the Vice Presidency.

Any particular reason you are on her case today? Or is this just any day for you, in so far as the VP is concerned.

Willie is just being sarcastic.

We all know that she is the best Vice President this country has ever been blessed with.

As is the President, of course.

This is how someone who doesnt have a good argument works, censorship of other arguments.

I agree. In the not so distant past we could argue over left vs right with abortion, welfare, immigration, whatever. You be you, I will be me and we can express ourselves at the ballot box. That has all changed now that Social Media has been weaponized. Now if you disagree with the left you must die. You must lose your job and be banned from life. Does the far left understand that there will be an equal and opposite reaction from the right?

I don't frequent Social Media all that much. I seldom go to Facebook and never for politics or the like. Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest... I look at certain messages or posts on those venues from time to time, but only when there's a link from an article in the New York Times, or NBC News, or some other "old school" venue of that kind.

Still, I can hardly imagine that there is not significant "total dumbass" behavior on Social Media from people and groups that self-identify as "right-leaning", or "conservative", or "anit-left" (and so on.) Maybe not in equal measure, compared with this "left" or "far left" that is described, but too significant to just ignore or pass over as if it isn't there.

Does this (Pennock's) belong to the category of Social Media? Consider the number of Pennock's forum members who are so full of themselves that they cannot abide any opposing or different opinion or idea without going total "Troll Mode" and disparaging anyone that they decide to target—anyone, including other Pennock's forum members—as a reincarnation of Karl Marx. "Leftists, leftists, leftists, bla-bla-bla." Often using "leftist" in all-caps. Or if not a reincarnation of Karl Marx, then just a "moron."

That is clearly an illness. A personality disorder, even if it only manifests in this online mode, and not directly from the person in real life. So much of an illness or disorder that Cliff Pennock recently (fairly recently) implemented "Black List" functionality in the forum software to tamp down on this particular kind of jackassery. Black List Functionality being my name for the Pennock's feature that prevents forum member A from posting in a thread that's been created by forum member B, and vice versa.

I said "consider the number..." It's non-zero. It's at least one (1).

So, I have to think, is Hudini listing (so to speak) too far to one side, with those remarks? Like this?

I've got my fingers crossed that "ray b" shows up in this thread. I often like the way he expresses himself on matters of this kind.
