"A federal judge on Wednesday found a former Energy Department contract engineer not guilty of trespassing and disorderly conduct in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, saying the defendant plausibly argued that police officers allowed him into the building.
U.S. District Judge Trevor N. McFadden, a 2017 Donald Trump appointee who served in the former president’s administration’s Justice Department, acquitted Matthew Martin of Santa Fe, N.M., of four misdemeanor counts of trespassing and disorderly conduct in a bench trial — handing the Justice Department its first defeat in a Capitol breach prosecution."
WELCOMED INTO THE CAPITOL BUILDING BY THE CAPITOL POLICE
Just like we've all seen in the videos.
This is a game changer.[This message has been edited by randye (edited 04-07-2022).]

As of today, April 7, 2022, one individual, (0.1 %) out of the 747 people charged with a crime while attending the January 6, 2021 rally in DC have been found not guilty.

How many of the remaining 746 of them now have a legal precedent
quote | Precedent refers to a court decision that is considered as authority for deciding subsequent cases involving identical or similar facts, or similar legal issues. |

You aren’t wrong. I don’t doubt many of the charged will also be able to successfully argue they were allowed in.
My comment was more tongue-in-cheek with how meaningless these Breaking News segments really are to the broader narrative.

"the broader narrative".......
Tell everyone that you're upset that your Leftist narrative continues to crumble without telling everyone that you're upset that your Leftist narrative continues to crumble.
Yes, a clue......you should try to get one.[This message has been edited by randye (edited 04-07-2022).]

If I were to read this out of context, it would seem like not all of the individuals had their day in Court and that you make it sound like the remaining 99.9% were guilty. Strange how that works.

LOL...
He calls that his "broader narrative" .
Leftists LOVE them some narratives. Storytelling. Fantasies. Fables.
Honest people, unlike Leftists, can just talk about the objective truth and don't have to rely on narratives.
What doesn't fit with his Leftist narrative is that LESS THAN 10 % of those people charged with a crime have gone to trial so far.[This message has been edited by randye (edited 04-08-2022).]
