And it doesn't effing matter what Brandon wants. We have this thing called the Second Amendment.
As poorly as our government works, now, at least THAT part still works, in spite of their best efforts. It will be ugly if they try to materially change anything about it.

Ummm... How about "because the police/gummint just can't guarantee anybody's safety?" Pretty much why I carry. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
But aside from all that...What we need doesn't enter into the discussion. It's what is guaranteed to us by that same 2nd amendment.
There are several thousand gun control laws in effect, that have proven to be completely useless if a shooter is determined enough. A couple more - or a dozen more - will change absolutely nothing, except to limit the rights of law-abiding Americans.[This message has been edited by Raydar (edited 05-30-2022).]

Up here its actually illegal to defend yourself or your property. You are "expected" to back down, call the cops, and let the "system" handle it...
