Follow-up on Pelosi's husband's DUI arrest / charge...

Apparently, the NAPA valley police waited 4 hours before they finally administered the breathalyzer test on him. This is apparently totally intentional, according to a DUI website that I found:

"One of the elements of a DUI charge is that if a driver has a BAC above .08% within 2 hours of driving. If the breath test is taken within two hours and above 0.08% the driver is presumed impaired and the burden shifts to the accused to prove the machine was in error. If the breath test is conducted outside the two hour window the burden is on the prosecution to establish what your BAC was at the time of driving."

Another intentional bit of favoritism... there is no recording of the altercation or arrest. Police in California are required to wear body cameras at all time while on patrol and responding to a call. It is also mandatory that the recordings are required to be made public.

https://www.policingproject...a-body-camera-policy

"... California Assembly Bill 748, signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown in September 2018, which requires departments statewide to follow these same protocols. As a result, California’s policy on the release of police body-worn camera footage is considered one of the most transparent in the country."

... I'm really getting ****ing tired of this bull **** .

I'm just wondering why someone with as much money, and as much to lose as him would be driving himself around. You would think that at the very least you would have a driver. China would probably provide one for free.

Wasn't it reported that he was driving a Porsche?

That would suggest that he likes driving, and wouldn't always want to be a passenger.

Drunk behind the wheel of a Porsche.

Drunk behind a gavel.

Sounds like the Pelosi household has a lot in common.

He also seems to like money and drinking. Can't have all three.

Great corrupt power,
apprehended by small fry police, shaking in their boots, sweating, fearful of their families obliteration, so the usual shakedown scheme was abandoned.
' We'll escort your Porsche from the winery, you can take the breathalyzer later, Sir ! '
The ss in the trailing security van were on the scene promptly, making clear to the local pd the big fish would get away.
The ada advising there would be no chance of a successful prosecution, so they didn't impound the car, they didn't detain the drunk in the back of the cruiser, they just didn't, anything.
Untouchable power, see, obstruction.
California wine touring.
Claims DUI Arrest Reports Include ‘Incorrect Information’
Why it shouldn't be a seizure of the Porsche, a massive fine, permanent license suspension, Nancy's resignation, and Newsom's removal from the Governor's mansion.
Real consequence for unlawful conduct, criminals.
' Ah fung goolah ! '
All you suckers, schmucks, stooges and deplorables, do you feel the law is unfair, are you like, emotional ?

It also seems as if his booking mugshot is made from 'unattainable'.

Actually, him driving a Porsche suggest he doesn't believe in Global Warming. If he did he would be driving a Prius or a Tesla.

New York Times spotlights Pelosi's lavish California living, husband's troubled driving history
I guess this must be the NY Slimes article rehashed on Foxnews. Notice the selective wording:

quote
On May 28, Paul Pelosi drove a small distance in his Porsche 911 from the swanky California estate of friend and Democratic donor Alexander Mehran to his home in Napa Valley. Soon after departing, a Jeep slammed into his vehicle as he attempted to cross the highway. He was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, and will head to court on August 3.

How about: Mr Pelosi did not follow right-of-way driving laws and slammed HIS vehicle into a passing Jeep.

quote
The incident also sparked tragic memories of Mr. Pelosi’s past. In 1957, at the age of 16, Paul got behind the wheel of a sports car with his brother David. The car crashed, and David was killed; Paul was eventually exonerated of misdemeanor manslaughter charges.

The car just plain and simply crashed... yup.

quote
About 20 years later, Nancy and Paul were on the way home from a barbecue with their children when their car flipped over in another wreck. Nobody was injured, and it was never discovered who was driving; they notably did not tell the Times who was behind the wheel.

Our government hasn't been "of the people, by the people, for the people" in a L-O-N-G time. If it was, those running it would have the same house hold income as it's peasant's and surf's, the majority.

And you wonder why they push to disarm you and total surveil you (multi purpose cameras everywhere, all inet comm monitoring, voice comm monitoring, $money$ monitoring, 50,000 more IRS agents, etc)

They will not tolerate a 2nd Revolution. They built their castles and fortunes, now they will do everything in their ill gotten power to protect it.
