No mean tweets, no AK-47, no white privilege, equality of outcome, a leftist utopia.

... almost everyone is now equally poor, big corporations and the 1% elite are now more powerful by virtue of the fact that the lower wealthy class are now lowered to today's middle class. Less competition for the elites, and big business. Government controls more... everyone relies on the government more... exactly what they want.

The ruling class, the aristocracy, the “oligarchs” are not really Leftists. That is the cloak they don in order to entice the gullible and lazy, the ill informed and the hateful “great unwashed”.
They have almost achieved their goal of a return to a feudal society. There is a lot more to the story of the creation of the Volkswagen than many know. If anyone wants to go down a rabbit hole, look up "Kraft durch Freude".[This message has been edited by williegoat (edited 06-17-2022).]

You mean the KdF-Wagen? Most don't want to know. Or worse, don't care.
(Nice design, Dr. Porsche. Still being used today.)

KDF was much more than the car. It was part of a government plan to placate and distract, and eventually subjugate the people, somewhat akin to "bread and circuses".

This like most thing never had a chance to do any good. The idea is to stop putting people in prison that need help and put the trafficker's in prison. But like everything if the state has no intention of enforcing the law and putting the dealers away while finding help for the users how would it work?
Implement changes without any infrastructure to support the changes. Sound familiar? Perhaps its doing exactly what they want it to do and weeding out the dealers and letting nature take its course.

I believe the idea is to insure chaos. The Dems need chaos. They need a crisis and someone to blame. They have no incentive to solve problems. They would have to go find honest employment.
