NOT
I did get the Wuhan virus back in October 2021 and got the monoclonal antibody treatment. Wonder if that counts as getting vax'ed?. Ended up getting pneumonia too. All better now.

"Vaxxed to the Max"
I had my second Covid booster (Pfizer) just a few weeks ago. During the course of 2021, I had the first and second primary vaccinations from Moderna, and a Moderna booster in December of 2021. I had no adverse effects after any of these injections.
I've either not been infected with Covid, or whatever infection(s) I've had have not led me to get tested or seek any Covid or Covid-like attention from the medical establishment... the "white-clad acolytes of Hippocrates," as I have sometimes said. My having said that, a consequence of a pre-existing condition, and not the vaccine.
I haven't been masking.
It's all but certain that I'll be among the first in line to receive the Omicron-specific vaccine or booster that is expected to become available in October. I think that's what I read. October.
Big Pharma says that this will be efficacious in protecting me against the more serious consequences of a Covid infection, even if the virus mutates into another dominant strain before the new shot(s) become available. Big Pharma says that my interests will best be served by getting in line for the next shot(s). Big Pharma says that even though the virus will continue to mutate and change into another new strain or strains, that whatever is ahead, in the immediate and near-term future, in terms of the virus, is likely not going to be much of a change from the current Omicron strain(s) and so the new shot will be a good match with whatever Covid strains or variants that are likely in October and throughout the remainder of 2022.
Hail Caesar Big Pharma![This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 08-06-2022).]

2 plus 1 booster and will get the second booster in September. Being retired I have the luxury of not having to go into crowded stores on the weekends but I do carry a mask just in case I get around someone coughing or hacking.

quote | While Covid is not nearly the threat it once was, transmission of the coronavirus remains at sky-high levels. At the same time, the death rate has dropped thanks to vaccinations and improved treatments, and the overwhelming majority of people in the United States have developed some level of protection, from shots, a previous infection, or some combination of the two. |
|
quote | In some ways, Covid is increasingly looking like other respiratory infections — mild in many people, but sometimes severe in certain high-risk populations. |
|
quote | ... going forward, Covid could generate two to three bad flu seasons’ worth of deaths each year. |
|
quote | Beyond deaths, the current level of illness is nothing to shrug off. Mass infections are both disruptive to society and result in an untold number of cases of long Covid. |

I'm not vaccinated along with my wife and 2 boys. Originally for us, we were standing with part of the medical community who agreed that the vaccine was rushed and had no long term testing. After a few months, people started to have health issues such as my wifes friend who had her 2nd shot and the next day was paralyzed from the waist down. Fortunately it lasted a few days and she recovered. My mom had her 2nd shot and ended up in the hospital for 10 days as fluid filled her lungs. The risk/reward is not worth it. We've been wearing surgical masks since early 2020 and have yet to even catch a cold and we live in the SF Bay Area which is a hotspot for Covid. (And Monkeypox and every other imported disease)
This virus will never go away but we feel confident enough wearing masks everywhere we go so Covid hasn't been an issue so far.

Vaxed, and boosted. No ill effects, other than a sore arm and sleepy as hell, for a few days, after the second shot.
I have to believe that I had the 'rona, or something like it. I had the worst stomach bug I'd ever had, in February of 2020. The month before COVID became "a thing".
I know a handful of people who have died from Covid. One person who died of a blood clot, after getting the vax.
