You know, I went clicking around the CBC site, and found this article...

Throughout the article... it basically says (summarized),
"Right-wing people (who we believe have authoritarian views and are against democracy) within government organizations may attempt to share information with the people that will prevent our government from being able to do what it wants."
I **** you not...
"RCMP feared that Mounties might leak operational plans to convoy protesters: documents"
"We haven't really done a whole lot of research in the Canadian context but in the U.S., study after study shows that law enforcement rates very high in terms of authoritarian values, which is part and parcel of the far-right as well. So I think there's definitely overlap."

I guess I'm kind of confused at how a tax-payer funded organization could be so wildly politically motivated. News organizations, especially ones that are funded by taxpayer money, should (theoretically at least), try to be as impartial as possible. But they're literally interviewing a public figure, not a politician, really trashing conservatives. The whole site just amazes me. Even our PBS isn't that bad. PBS at least tries desperately to hide it... much of which is simply because they're doing their best to TRY to be moderate, but their idea of moderate is still radically left.

We have called them the Communist broadcasting Corporation for generations.
They are pretty much the propaganda arm of the Liberal Party/Leftist policy up here, and have been forever.

Weren't the conservatives in power just a few years ago? If I'm not mistaken... Steven Harper or something? Why didn't they basically eliminate the CBC then, or did they think they were simply being impartial then because they were in charge?

I honestly havent got a clue why they didnt shut them down altogether.
The conservatives cut back their funding every time they get power, then the libs just go and pour money at them next time they are in.

Every Canadian will have to register their kitchen knives now. Only trusted LEOs can have large capacity knives. Everyone else gets a butter knife.
