I like this partial screen grab I just made. Emblematic of GOP politics? Iconic? (Page 1/2) |

Washed out in soap, ? "You mean like wash it with a rag", like Hillary washes cell phones ?
Telling it like it is ? Your previous President has a right to his opinion. Many people will agree, some may not.
What shoulds' we do about the damn lying Dumbocrats. Their beliefs should be washed clean.

I know this may seem "rich" ... but more and more, I'm getting over all this political stuff.
I feel like the world has gone mad. All I want is...
1 - The Federal government to be uninvolved in people's normal day to day lives. 2 - Not try to force negative race-baiting education onto children. 3 - Not constantly try to force sexualized discussions and topics onto children. 4 - Secure the border, and support legal immigration for those who will benefit this country. 5 - Stop spending money incessantly. 6 - Stop constantly getting involved in wars, or pushing an agenda that is un-American. 7 - Stop ceding national control to global governments at every opportunity.
For my views above, I am considered a radical, an ideologue, and a bigot. I mean... really?

Just tired.
I go on Twitter and the Democrats seem to be acting like they're hard-core winning. I'm trying to figure out what exactly they think they're winning. The administration is doing everything they can right now to keep the economy together as absolutely best as they can just before the election. After November, the economy is going to tank... ask me how I know. And then I look at everything else... insane gas prices, 100% inflation for goods / supplies (8.3%, come on...), transgender studies for elementary school kids... nearly global war, insane national debt... I mean... what are we winning?
Even if the Democrats managed to put Trump in the stocks and / or gallows... what will they have won? Really? The country is a total disaster right now, and I'm trying to figure out where their fake enthusiasm is coming from?
They talk about registering voters, but it's fake. Florida now has 300k more Republican voters registered than Democrats... first time ever in the history of this state. I should be happy at how badly the Democrats are doing because it means Republicans are going to make a killing in the mid-terms, but I don't view politics as the Dolphins vs. the Jets. I'm just really tired of all of this.

It could be worse.
I live in GA. I get to listen to all the Stacey Abrams "Kemp bashing" (Kemp has very few ads. General feeling is that he's going to destroy Stacey), and the Herschel Walker / Raphael Warnock sh!t show. They've just started with the Raffensperger bashing. General consensus is that he's going to easily win, too.
Aside from all that... Have you heard the rumor that Trump is talking about running for Governor in FL? Wifey told me about that one. At least I don't have to put up with the Gavin Newsom ads that you guys have. (Which puzzles me, but... whatever.)[This message has been edited by Raydar (edited 09-27-2022).]

Rinse, rather than focusing on Trump's regrettable missing civility filter, I think this illustrates very well Republican Politics' Core Competency: Infighting. It's why nothing of substance got done during the 2 years we (I am usually a Republican) held the WH and the upper and lower houses of Congress. As a practical matter, it's why I still have (#^%*&!!) Obamacare and can't choose better insurance over state lines, or even no insurance, without being punished. So 'yes,' sadly, it IS emblematic.

I wonder if there are those here who would put Immigration Reform and Border Security in that same category of "nothing of substance got done during the 2 years [that Republicans] held the WH and the upper and lower houses of Congress? (The first two years of Trump's Presidency, when there were Republican majorities in the House and Senate.)
I'm not so confident about my "bloviating" about these issues as I am about the perils of Global Warming and Global Warming's worst nightmare (and humanity's best friend) "Green Energy".[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 10-03-2022).]
