WTH happened to Drudge?! (Page 1/1)

I used to follow Drudge, because he seemed to have a relatively unbiased mix of right-leaning and left-leaning articles/links. But now, it seems that everything he links to is left wing, republican bashing.
There was even an article, published elsewhere, that asked the same question.
(Also... a lot of things he links to are behind a paywall. No thanks. Plenty enough free bullshit, without having to pay for it.)

I suppose that's a rhetorical question, but I would welcome advice regarding other sites that are more like Drudge "usta be".
(1440 is okay, for what it is, but it's very limited, as it seems to be mostly email-based.)

Matt Drudge sold it a few years back for a song, something like $30 million, I forgot to whom, but it some rich California couple that came from early Google business ventures, but yeah he no longer has anything to do with it.

Word is that he retired somewhere in Portugal.

But yeah, Drudge Report went left wing. Smart of the couple to ride his name. But everything else is leftist captured. NYT, WaPo, NPR have really went off the rails, so it is no surprise that Drudge Report, once the best news aggregate site, but now does the bidding of the Democratic Party.

Leftist are smart like that. Capture the media and the universities and you can brainwash the youth to believe in anti-science, victimized grifting, fear mongering using pipe dream version of utopia.

Michelle Malkin also stepped away from her conservative website "HotAir" and it too descended into a Leftoid sewer for awhile but it has recently tried mightily to regain it's former credibility.

These days "Whatfinger" seems to be an alternative as a mainly conservative news and opinion aggregator.

"Not the Bee" also has a smattering of "news worthy" conservative and amusing articles, especially skewering the abundant ridiculousness of Leftists.

The "problem" is that none of them really want to regain their credibility. They only want you to think they are credible so they can make more money/gain power.

What Wichita said... this is where I go now for my "Drudge" style news: https://thelibertydaily.com/

They even call themselves "The Conservative Alternative to the Drudge Report"
