Soon, we will let out our last few cc's of CO₂ and will be swallowed whole, still fully conscious. There, we may contemplate the darkness.

I have sometimes wondered about what level of corruption, privation and pain that Americans will endure before they are finally moved to act en mass.

It seems that the pain tolerance level is either incredibly high or the general populace has become as numb as it is ignorant.
