Last time I checked, we were free and it was our absolute RIGHT to dislike, or even hate, anything, anybody or any group we please for any reason we please.

I.O.W.----decide our own damn opinions.

Sounds like more gun oil liberal tears and thought-control to me.

I didn't say that Trump isn't free to have dinner with anyone he likes... or that Nick Fuentes isn't free to be (or impersonate) a largely deranged mental midget.

I'm exercising my own freedom to take notice and remark it.

This is one of those not infrequent cases when a topic title or thread name suddenly "hits" me when I'm looking at or thinking about the news. To be honest about it, the news story itself is like a mere footnote, in what I've done here.

I enclosed the thread name within quotation marks for a reason.

Parenthetically, they're not the double quotation mark ("). They are two single quotation marks (') put together. I think that's important in terms of not confusing the forum software.

There used to be a sour boy on this forum who was a Fuentes fan. He got booted off the island.

I don't know the details about the Trump event, all I have read is the rhetoric.

However, until the left owns up to its transgressions, illustrated in my previous post, this is nothing but BS from whining children.

When it comes to racial politics, Biden and LBJ are twins.

Whole racial politics thing is nothing more than one group trying to get an upper hand over everybody else simply because of an accident of birth.

I'm talking the right to personal preference.

If green-skinned people who all smell like limburger cheese and speak in chirps irritate me (or any other group), then I am perfectly free not to be bothered with them (discriminate). Doesnt really matter if it's the chirps, green, or limburger. All that matters is it's my choice and I said "nope".

Outright hating them ?...that will come when they try to assume power and force themselves where they arent really wanted. And it doesnt originate with the green-chirpy-cheese, It originates with trying to rule me. And the harder they try, the more hate they will find gift-wrapped with a nice big ribbon.

OK, I checked it out.

Kanye West invited himself and did not tell Trump he was bringing Fuentes.

West seems to be half crazy. If West were a Biden supporter, it would be racist to call him a looney cartoon.

What little I know about West and Fuentes, I would not want to be around either one. Besides, how many times have we been told that only white people can be racist?

The left hates Kanye West (this year), but accepts Jeremiah Wright and Calypso Louis. What separates them? Don't tell me. I know exactly what separates them.

There was one moment that told me everything that matters about Nick Fuentes.

I might find it on YouTube, but I'll just describe it. It was when the news first broke that Russian soldiers had crossed the border and were operating with their boots on the ground in Ukraine. Fuentes was on stage at some politically conservative-branded event. So Fuentes' face lit up like a toddler finding a gift-wrapped present under a Christmas tree. "Russia! How about Russia!" he exclaimed, as he practically extolled the audience to clap their hands in a round of applause for Vladimir Putin.

It wasn't the reaction of someone who had serious or thoughtful skepticism or doubts about Ukraine or the United States or NATO and about whether they weren't culpable in some way for not having been fully rational during the run-up to this war.

I have no doubt that Nick Fuentes is an idiot.

I have no idea about the circumstances of the dining itself, or about anything that was said in the way of conversation between Trump and Fuentes, or about anything that Trump might be known to have said about it, afterwards.

That's because it was the opportunity to "flash" some Firesign Theatre when I titularized this thread that was my real motivation for this.

Ah, they just brought this up again on MSNBC.

Idiot ? Probably....

OTOH, I have much the same reaction when I hear of some certain political-type and religious-type groups having their asses handed to them.

All smiles.
