According to ray b yes. According to history no. Nazism and fascism and communism all share many characteristics. It's funny when people try to tie Nationalism to the right wing as Mao and Ho Chi Min were total Nationalists. Hell China today is the most Nationalist nation on earth.

I pissed off my "Social Studies" teacher in fourth grade (1964) when I asked her what the difference was between Nationalism and Patriotism. It was a serious question from a nine year old boy, but she acted like I was trying to push a right winged agenda. Maybe it was my AuH2O button.
Nationalism is Patriotism you don't like.
