Pajama Boy
The Life Of Julia
More absurdity ...
Body Image
The book seems innocuous enough. At first glance.
quote | Gender Fluidity "At first, you and the doctor might talk about wearing the clothes, and using the pronouns that make you feel most comfortable, to make you feel like the true you. If you haven't gone through puberty yet, the doctor might offer medicine to delay your body's changes, giving you more time to think about your gender identity." If you don't have an adult you can trust, there are organizations across the country that can help you." |
|
Brought to you likely by the people who brought you "The life of Julia" (depending on gooberment) and "Pajama Boy" (talk to your family during Thanksgiving about ObamaCare.

So, let me see if I understand this...
That book is for little girls. (ok, I can already see a problem)
It tells these girls, "If you don't like your breasts, a doctor will be happy to chop them off for you." It also tells these children, "If you don't like being fat, deal with it, lard ass"

Dumb books are always being published and sold.
Unless these are top-sellers, is it even a news story?
A contemporaneous example of the "Is it even ... ?" construct from the cultural space of TV advertisements.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 12-08-2022).]

OK, this was linked from rinselberg's video. It is oddly relevant and it cracked me up.
I want a hat like that.
