That is the only reason I have ever heard of Clear Lake, Iowa.

I was only four years old when the crash happened, but I was a junior in high school when the Don Mclean song was released, and I was having a lot of fun. It will always bring back a lot of memories.

Years later, Glenn Beck did a great, detailed explanation of the song.

True, but ... a few great artists, by, ?, luck, could have been on that fatal plane crash.

Have you heard the story of what he said to Buddy Holly when he gave up his seat?
