This recording was only issued on the Blue Amberol cylinder, apparently didn't make it to Diamond Disc. It was recorded using an Edison HOME model B cylinder phonograph c.1906-1907. It was originally made to play only 2 minute cylinders. When the 4 minute cylinder was developed in 1908, Edison offered folks a kit that would convert their older 2 minute players in to 2 OR 4 minute players. This machine has such a kit. It seems the owners at that time also opted for the reproducer carriage upgrade with the horizontal mounting for the Cygnet horn and larger opening to accommodate the new Diamond 'B' 4 minute reproducer.
