It doesn't bother me anymore though, the terms "racist" and "racism" have lost all meaning because they're so overused by everybody.

As soon as you hear the word "racist" come flying out of their ignorant mouths, you know they're all out of talking points and you've won the argument.

I had one liberal bonehead tell me I was "racist" in his first sentence, to which I shot back "Yup, I sure am"

That's how you shut them up, they think you're going to get upset, freak out, and start spewing crap about how many black friends you have, he was so taken aback he didn't know what to do next. Nobody ever agreed with him.

Then I followed up with "now that we got that out of the way, you got something to say or is that all you had?"

Name calling doesn't work on me, like at all. I really couldn't care less what you call me or the language you use (unlike the "delicate" ones who are perpetually "offended"), I figure if you got something to say - quit beating around the bush and spit it out already because you're wasting my time.

That accounts for about 1 out of every 100 people of color in this country. The most extreme.

The other 99 don't get as much coverage... at least in the media venues or on the social networks that "Fitz301" gravitates towards.

It would be interesting if some other forum members with direct knowledge of these matters could weigh in here. Maybe forum members who are black or people of color, themselves. They don't have to disclose that, just to weigh in here.
