So now it's the rice. (Page 1/1)

Wasnt it the cows last week ? Or was that the week before ?

Wish the climatards would pick one and stick with it. This is getting confusing trying to keep up.

It's long been known that rice paddies are a source of methane emissions.

It takes systematic research to quantify a factor like these methane emissions from the culture of rice... to arrive at a number that is fairly representative of rice cultivation all around the world.

The news isn't that rice cultivation adds to the planet-warming greenhouse effect by emitting methane into the atmosphere.

The news is how much.

Tell us, how much.

It's right at the top of the ZeroHedge report that MidEngineManiac posted. Just scroll down a short ways until you see this text:

VIDEO: Rice is to blame . . .

That's where it's quantified, in the text that follows... the remainder of that paragraph.

It's "eye-popping".

Eye popping ? Is that why you can not see ?

... methane, a gas that over two decades, traps about 80 times as much heat as carbon dioxide.

Other rinselberg's knowledge.

  10. Perfluorotributylamine and Sulfuryl Fluoride (a two-way tie for the 10th slot in the Greenhouse Gases "batting order")

This is a nice little summary, from Anne Marie Helmenstine, Ph.D., at ThoughtCo., and it's fairly recent... January, 2020. Each of the greenhouse gases is described very briefly in plain language and accompanied by a thoughtfully chosen photograph or image.

He is saying that his number three greenhouse gas, which ranks as controlling 80% ppm of the greenhouse manhood, beats his # 2's CO2's azz in threat, at 10%. ppm.

Does he have a reason for not posting each gas's content of ppm ? I'd bet he doesn't know. I guess the Gawds think it is easier to take our cars first, before they want our beef and milk.
