Florida had a hurricane that decimated parts of the peninsula. An island was cut off. De Santos had the highway rebuilt in I believe in one week.
The US I 95 freeway collapsed in Pennsylvania. Repair estimates ? Three or more months.

rhonda let the insurance rates double for wind
normal homes far inland people are paying 500 to over 1000 a month just for wind ins not mansion or water front but older 3/2 high and dry suburban CBS now required to have flood ins also even if in a no flood zone [if we have wind ins]
I bet he got a kick back on the bridge deal he has been shaking down contractors to fund his ambitions
I saw it coming and spent 25K on a 200mph roof screwed glued 3 ply 1 1/2'' deck doubled steel over+SS cable
just before supplies/costs/labor went way up now that would cost 75K today to do but I save 12k a year in ins that WILL BE MORE NEXT YEAR AND MY ROOF WILL NOT BLOW AWAY[This message has been edited by ray b (edited 06-12-2023).]

It was just a temporary bridge to Pine Island. I don't know if the permanent repair is even completed yet.

Yeah, that fix was essentially a couple of trucks full of gravel.
Of course full bragging rights for getting it done because people don’t pay attention to details.

A few years ago, I-85, north of downtown Atlanta, lost a hundred feet or so of the northbound side, due to a reported homeless crackhead starting a fire in some plastic fiber duct, that was stored under the bridge. The southbount side did not collapse, but was also compromised. It was all rebuilt in about five weeks. The repairs cost $15 million. $10 million of which was provided by President Trump. CW Matthews was the contractor.

You, from tennessee, me from Texas. (I would apologize but you don't feel as if the name of your State should be capitalized.)
What do you know about the repairs ? Ah , yes, you said you don't know. Do they have a temporary bridge for the Pennsylvania bridge collapse ?

He's NOT actually from Tennessee... it's ThreeDog, they've used the same IP space. I personally don't mind, but if you're going to play in the fire, you should be willing to take the heat. He just knew he was really close to being banned by vote that I guess he felt he needed another account to take that heat for him.

I never 'negged' him. We sparred often but but not always.
I have been in Tech and Chat. He volunteered to help me many times.

I don't neg people either... it's very rare... like, you have to really suck. I can't remember what that other guy's name on here who kept posting pro-NAZI stuff, I negged him, and he's since been banned. But other than that, like RayB, Rinse, etc... I do not have negs on them, I actually have positives.
