The FBI is also in possession of the Steele Dossier.
Since they posses it does that mean everything in it is true?
Don't fall for the right-wing hype. This is another big nothing.
Remember when Hannity and Carlson had all you rubes convinced that John Durham's investigation was going to "blow up" and "clean out" the FBI. Not even enough evidence to get a single agent fired.
Or how about when the investigations of Hillary Clinton by the REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED CONGRESS were going to get her sent to jail? Again a big zero.
Hunters laptop was in the possession of a Trump supporter computer expert for a year and he could not find any evidence of corruption by Joe Biden. Hunter is a sleeze and probaly guilty of tax evasion, but nothing connected to Joe.

So the FBI never looks into the evidence before it's allowed to be used against someone? Especially against a sitting President?

FBI/DOJ seems to hold back a lot when it's a D
It's because they're all part of the elite club. They protect their own. Trump is not in it. A Threat. He's exposed more of the shadow people and brought to light how there are multiple tiered justice systems when politics are involved.
Expendable lemming Navy man takes pictures of a few things on a submarine: lock him up.
Staffer or military higher up spreads false info and lies under investigation: free man, gets book deals
Expendable lemming military young man leaks TRUE info that the US military is keeping hush hush about how crappy Ukraine is doing: lock him up.
Political aides leak stuff: champions, heros, may they fall over for all the medals that would be bestowed upon them.

One of the main reasons Trump beat Hillary was because Comey announced that he was re-opening the investigation into Hillary's laptop just days before the election. Trump praised and loved Comey for that move.

The Steele Dossier was never used against Trump. It was not the reason the investigation was started, and nothing from the dossier was used to support any of Meuller's findings. I believe that did use something from it to renew a FISA warrant against Carter Page, but that was it.
