How much longer before we are officially in this conflict?

Biden orders 3,000 reservists to be ready for Europe deployments

It’s not clear whether the troops will actually be deployed, but it suggests the U.S. military presence in Europe is under strain.

This is an excellent report (IMO) and it's actually very brief.

The first rule of Atlantic Resolve is "You do not talk about Atlantic Resolve."

We are already there, but it will be swept under the rug until after Nov '24. We will see it nightly after Jan '25.

That's why LBJ and Mac are thinking, "God, not this shirt again!"

Thanks for your question, Jake. I will turn to my guest today, former NATO Allied Supreme Commander and retired Admiral James Stavridis.

Hello Jake. I understand your concern, but there's no scenario in which our U.S. servicemen and women, or those of our NATO allies, will ever become "boots on the ground" in Ukraine, or become engaged in direct combat operations in support of our Ukrainian allies.

President Biden has demonstrated truly historic leadership in marshaling the military and other assistance that Ukraine needs to reach a state on the battlefield where Putin's only recourse is to enter into serious negotiations to end this war on terms that are acceptable to Ukraine's national leadership, and its people.

As I was saying just two days ago on CNBC, there's a "burn rate" on both sides of this conflict that will bring about the start of serious negotiations between Russia and Ukraine before the end of this year. You can access that on-air interview via YouTube:

President Biden has done exactly the right thing by setting up the transfer of some 100,000 cluster munitions to Ukraine, from our stockpile of at least a million rounds of this kind of ordinance. It's the only rational decision he could have made under these circumstances. Thankfully, there are steady hands on all the important national and international security "wheels" in this administration, from President Biden on down.

I am truly amazed. The same people that screamed at the top of there lungs and ran for the border over other conflicts are embracing this like it's the coming of the Lord. This conflict would not have happened if we had a strong leader.

I just don't get you at all. I asked a simple question and this is what I get.
If its to be war than damn it lets have war. Paying someone else government to kill their children just seems wrong.
