VEEBS: A New App to Avoid 'Woke' Companies and SHOWS Their 'Values' (Your $$ Matters) (Page 1/2)
Vintage-Nut JUL 28, 10:54 AM
Shopping with brands that support your values has never been more important.

The Bud Light fiasco has proven that boycotts can be crippling for a brand and that there is meaning behind the phrase, “Go woke, go broke.”

This new tool shows companies 'values' and what the brand 'stands for'.

If their 'message' is inconsistent with your beliefs, duh - don't buy it!

Nice find !

My tablet (Fire 8HD) doesn't have GPS function and I have play store side-loaded, so I might have to start taking that thing on shopping trips.

Annnnddddd....thats a no-go. Fire wont run the app. I'll find another way.

Evidence for ideologically aligned products is growing QUICKLY and a trend that won’t dissipate anytime soon!

Budweiser's brand popularity and sales drop is inevitable, because it's a boomer brand, much like Harley Davidson is. Boomer brands will fizzle in market share and many will go bankrupt and disappear.

What is definition of "Boomer Brand" that I can use to determine exactly which brands qualify?

Liberals make more money than conservatives. So if "values shopping" becomes a trend Liberals will win.

The lesson to be learned from the Bud Lite fiasco is "Know your market". Nike thrived with Colin Kaepernick as a spokesperson because they have a more progressive target market. Bud Lite collapsed from the Mulvany debacle because they had a very conservative target market. So you won't "go broke" from "going woke" if you have a progressive target market.

It also helps if you have a good product. I wanted to boycott Chik-fil-a, but their food is just too good. And that is another reason it was so easy to boycott Bud Lite. It was a terrible beer to begin with.

I had no idea what the heck "tuck friendly" was, so I looked it up.

Why are you helping to spread false rumors about this swimwear being marketed for kids?

Fact Check-Target’s ‘tuck-friendly’ swimsuits are for adults, not children

Target’s “PRIDE” line of merchandise includes a “tuck-friendly” swimsuit made for adults, contrary to posts shared online saying the retailer is selling this product for children.

So XXS Adult = "kids"?

Being 6'3", I can't say I'm too familiar with XXS Adult sizing, but it would certainly surprise me if XXS Adult fits a little kid.
