I have seen this story before, and I believe it is true.
But is seems to be just a one-off shady criminal operation. No proof of interstate operations or and Chinese government involvement

Not surprised.
Hell, California has a US Senator that her daughter has full power of attorney over all her decisions. Yet, they still wheel her into the Senate Chambers and force her hand to vote whatever.

Of course, Senator Feinstein is something else again.
At least I can say that I voted against returning her to the Senate when I last had that chance.
