If Trump does not get GOP nomination (Page 1/17)

Will he run as a third party candidate?

I think he definitely will.

I don't really want to get bogged down in a debate over if he will get the nomination or not. That is a different discussion. I just want your thoughts on if he would run a third party campaign.

Which side of my grey cells do you want me to use.

If you want no know about my thoughts, tell us why you think he will.

1. He does not give a **** about the Republican Party.

2. He is a narcissist who is addicted to attention.

3. But the biggest reason is the money

Trump’s political operation, led by his leadership PAC Save America, is sitting on more than $100 million, according to the most recent filings with federal regulators. Leadership PACs are generally established as a way to allow political figures to support other candidates. But leadership PACs also can underwrite personal expenses.

Save America, for instance, has spent more than $8.5 million on legal expenses since the start of 2021 – with some of it going to firms defending Trump in personal legal matters, such as the sweeping lawsuit that New York Attorney General Letitia James brought in September, alleging fraud in the Trump Organization’s business practices.

I think both of these, but especially point number 2. Haven't really paid attention to #3, as I have not been a contributor. Ever.
My money is better spent right here at home.
With that said, if he gets the nomination, he will most likely get my vote. If not? I will probably still vote for the (R) candidate.
I suppose we shall have to see how it all shakes out, in the next 14 months. Literally anything could happen. I won't even venture a guess.
"Interesting times", indeed.

But I believe that RFK could really shake things up, more than anyone is expecting. He's certainly not "business as usual" - probably to his detriment, within the Dem power structure.

Agree. I don't care what polls say. I don't see any way Trump could win a general election. He lost the last one and fewer people will vote for him next time. He has a devoted base that don't care what he does, but there are plenty of Republicans who saw how crazy and dangerous he was on January 6.

And I would not be surprised if Biden had some sort of health problem that stopped him from running.

I have no idea what will happen. If Republicans were smart they would get behind someone like Nikki Haley or Tim Scott who could win a general election. And if Dems were smart they would be working on an alternate candidate other than Kamale Harris in case Biden drops out.

Oh boy. This Fred feller thinks people actually give a crap about the Republican Party.

NewsFlash. Nobody in the real world thinks either party is worth a crap.

What a maroon.

What's wrong with helping pay legal expenses which are political in nature ?

Trump: No Pathway to Victory

Google "2016 presidential election night broadcasts / no pathway to victory", and cry again.

I laugh every time I see that image of some lady at Hillery's election headquarters crying. I laugh harder when I think about the various news anchors covering the election. After every State declared a winner, they would say, "there is no path to victory for Trump".

As the night went on, you could see the fear in their faces as they repeated "there is no path to victory for Trump" again and again.

The next few days were interesting also. The leftoid media acted like there was no election, as much as they could.

Imagine, your cult could have won if Hillary actually visited "fly over country".

Translation.
"There is no path to victory for Trump".

For your my amusement, google "lady crying after 2016 election night". Images show many people crying. Google results also list leftoid media anchors crying.

There are those who have said "if the media had paid as much or more attention to Hillary's campaign visit to rural Pennsylvania (if memory serves me) shortly before Election Day," as the prominence that the media bestowed upon the latest oral flatulence from candidate Trump.

But I'm not here to rehash the 2016 presidential election. Not any more that I've already rehashed ti with this remark.

Fred... he has a near 60% approval rating from the GOP, the next closest candidate has 13%. This question is asinine...
