Dallas city mayor went to the Republican Party.

For locals, it shouldn’t be any big surprise. He’s always been a fairly moderate mayor, so moving over to the Republicans gives him a better platform state-wide, which I assume is his plan.

It’s unlikely we will see any material difference as residents, honestly.

It's good to see an elected official, no matter the Party affiliation, work to better the circumstances for the community at large.

That what elected officials are supposed to do.
