Kevin McCarthy is no longer the speaker of the house. Is this good or bad?

Although he would not have been my choice for Speaker, the Republicans shot themselves in the foot at the worst time. Gaetz is off my Christmas list.

I don't think it will make much difference.
I don't think any of the far right extremists will get it. There are not really enough of them to pass any policy. All they can do is keep messing it up for everyone else. It will be interesting to see what the GOP decides to do.
As much as it seems that the Republicans are making themselves look bad, the Democrats are not doing anything to take advantage. They don't seem too competent rigth now either.

Neither of the two parties era doing any thing to benefit the people. They should be holding people accountable for there jobs and removing them for incompetence.

''When you understand these a\\-holes are not interested in governance they are all about proving governance and indeed democracy have failed. They are trailblazing for Autocracy. Only then do you begin to understand the depths of their treachery .''

At the very least, McCarthy's removal prompted the interim Speaker, Patcick McHenry, to finally kick the squatter Nancy Pelosi out of the Speaker's private office in the Capitol Building.
