We have another victim of the war (Page 1/3)

With the coverage of the war in the middle east MSNBC prime time ratings are down 33%. This is a big drop even for there regular viewers. Any thoughts on why. Did the regular viewers go some where else to get more informed or did they get tired of the same old thing?

The viewer metrics are the viewer metric. I won't dispute that.

I don't agree with this New York Post columnist's description of the MSNBC coverage as "anti-Israel," "pro-Hamas," "pro-Palestinian," or "left wing propaganda."

This columnist is cherry picking the MSNBC coverage to frame it in the way that he (or she) wants.

May be MSNBC's viewers are mostly Democratic and pro Israel. I have worked in customer service for a long time and the one thing I learned is you don't piss off you customers. They will go some where else and might not come back.

Can it be that Jewish/Democratic voters are seeing the party for what it is.

Okay. Show us some pro Israeli coverage. Anti Hamas coverage (that should be very easy, if they are not Hamas lovers) ? Anti Palestine coverage ?

It's not a question of "pro" or "anti"... it's a question of "accurate."

The MSNBC channel on YouTube is a convenient way to see what MSNBC is like. Anyone can find the MSNBC channel on YouTube and select VIDEOS to see what has been posted most recently from the network's broadcasts.

I'm satisfied with my own conclusions about the cherry-picking of MSNBC coverage in that column in the New York Post to create a distorted narrative about MSNBC.

The numbers don't lie. - 33% prime-time not at 3AM

I don't dispute the numbers. I disagree with the characterization of MSNBC's coverage as provided in that column in the New York Post.
