McDonald’s launches a new adult Happy Meal
quote | McDonald’s knows kids aren’t the only ones who love opening a Happy Meal box. There is something that makes everyone feel young at heart when they reach in and grab that toy while snagging a few french fries. |
|
Folks, these are your neighbors. And they vote.
When I was very young, Pete Seeger asked "Where have all the flowers gone?"
Now I ask, "Where have all the adults gone?"
------------------ "Ain't no rest for the whiskers."

Where to begin Willie... where to begin.
When I was in high school... as a senior, the yearbook staff kids were walking around the school trying to get every single senior they could for our "senior quotes." I absolutely didn't have one planned out, or thought of ahead of time. But as I was shooting the **** with some of my other "grunge" buddies (it was the mid 90s, remember)... they said... "Todd, what do you want for us to put down for your high school year book quote..." and I said... (in my best stoic and dapper voice):
"You can only be a child once, but you can be immature forever."
Why do I share this information with you Willie? Because I'm someone who really tries not to take myself seriously. I also realize that a lot of what I do is immature, perhaps not intentionally, but it is. Even with a background like this, I look at McDonalds selling happy meals specifically for adults, and I'm hit with not just one Picard face-palm, but a double-Picard facepalm.
I know I was taught growing up that I should not judge others... that we all have different backgrounds, etc... and we all have different priorities. Even my Catholic roots taught me, judge not that ye not be judged. But damn...
On the other aspect of this, do you blame McDonalds? If there is legitimately a market for it... why not capitalize on it. But still... this is right up there with middle-aged men who play computer games 8 hours a day and ignore their families.

That is why he specified "female clitoris". Sometimes, leftists get a little confused.

Toys for adults? What a ridiculous concept.
BTW have I shown you the new wheels and tires I got for my car that I don't need for transportation? It is out in my garage with my motorcycle, ATV, and pontoon boat. In the back by my golf clubs, compound bow, snow skis, and camping gear.
