You decide, is he a horrible person? ... or just absent? (Page 1/1)

Two U.S. NAVY Seals are confirmed dead today.

But ... Biden ends his only public meeting of the day, and doesn't even bother mentioning the death of the Seals...

Is it because he's not the one deciding what to say (and really has no clue from one minute to the next), or does his administrators not care enough to add it into his carefully planned speech?

There's a brief text from "Jill and I" on the official White House website, dated January 22, 2024.

When I read this last night... they hadn't posted that yet. Looks like they put that up when they got a ton of backlash.

Military recruitment was down a whopping 25% in 2022... which was 15,000 soldiers. This past year, recruitment was down 41,000 soldiers... which is (if I do my math right) a further 37% recruitment shortfall. We have the smallest military since before WW2.

If Joe Biden was intentionally trying to demoralize the U.S. Military, he wouldn't be doing anything different than he is now. I think the obvious fact is... Joe Biden isn't present. He just does what he's told day to day since he's so absent mentally. His immediate political advisors, they've never served... they don't think about these things... nor do they immediately care. They're only concerned about the political lens of the actions he makes... and since they're so far removed from the reality of what most Americans care about, they always miss the mark.

I can't wait until November...

EDIT: This article: https://www.military.com/da...ttacks-economic.html

... essentially states it was the pull-out of Afghanistan, and the politicization of the military that's led to a distrust and unfavorability of the military. I completely agree with this.

It was literally day of confirmation…

You’re really bending over backwards to facilitate this outrage.

The president is notified immediately, well before the Pentagon makes the announcement. I know this as a fact.

This wasn't posted until after his presser... in which he made no mention of it. Again, I'm thinking he's just absent. I know most millennial political advisors have no clue or don't really even think about this. So that's what I'm chalking it up to.

This. It's frightening to ponder who is - or might be - actually running the show.
It kind of reeks of Obama, but who knows?

In the beginning, Joe was perceived by many as the more "middle of the road" candidate. His actions haven't borne that out.

I honestly don't think anyone knows what Biden actually stands for. He's the least down to Earth / communicative president we've ever had. With President Obama, we at least more or less knew who he was. He had actual conversations with people. Biden's talks, interviews, etc., are so scripted that it's all politics. Like, it's really weird.

Obama was an ideologue who got bought out. He is not at the top of the pyramid.
