I understand the His position, but I don't think you do.
If everyone i.e., Democrats, Republicans, big business, media, entertainment is part of the tyranny then what is the answer? What do you suggest people do to end this "tyranny"? If citizens overthrow the current government then who do they install in its place? If they destroy all big businesses then who do they task with the means of production? If they overthrow all media then how do they communicate their message to citizens?
It is easy to pontificate about theoretical tyranny, but when you start looking at the reality of the situation it becomes much more complicated. We end up with an endless cycle of people who call everything they dislike "tyranny" and destroying society over and over again.[This message has been edited by BingB (edited 01-30-2024).]

Seriously?
What has been President Biden's modus operandi, if not compromise?

Off the top of my head?
Executive orders Demonetization of his political enemies Colluding with social media providers to censure opposing opinions Weaponization of the judicial system
I'm sure there are more but that will do for now.[This message has been edited by otakudude (edited 01-28-2024).]

So far you are 100% correct.
One just skimmed the essay and failed to understand it and the other two never read it.
Other than the screeds of Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin, Leftists don't have a voluminous, studied, ideological philosophy so even delving into a relatively short essay like the one you referenced is completely foreign to them.[This message has been edited by randye (edited 01-29-2024).]

Demonetization of his political enemies... or demonization of his political enemies?
I guess it could be both... "Two Things At Once."[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 01-28-2024).]

Why anyone here even defending Biden is beyond me? He has the second lowest approval rating of any modern president for good reason. And if we're all being honest here... no one will remember Biden like they did Carter (who had the lowest approval rating). Carter was a much nicer person, just not decisive or tough. Biden is a mean and nasty person, and has never done anything for anyone except seek power. Even his charitable contributions are lower than the least affluent person on Pennocks. I'd guarantee that every single one of you have more charitable donations in any given year than he does... which is sick. The guy is a mean, nasty person, and has been an abject failure of a President. I would swap him out for Obama right now for the last year of his presidency if I could.
Joe... the good news from all of this is... Biden has done such a horrible job, and the Democrats so totally unhinged, that support for the Democrat party is at its lowest point in modern history. Fewer than 27% of Americans who are registered to vote, identify as Democrat. That's compared to 28% of people who identify as Republican. We've had this whole conversation before... the Republican party has always been viewed by the media narrative as the evil party (when we know both historically and present, that couldn't be further from the truth). But Democrats are in a free-fall. And this was all BEFORE the Primaries when Democrats started registering as Republican to prevent Trump from winning the primary. Most people are identifying as Independent, but even with Independents, a greater percentage of them lean Republican than they do Democrat.
So people are waking up. Often times with liberals, they are unable to see reality until it directly affects them. Whether that's Joe Biden's horrible energy, immigration, or monetary policies... people are seeing what they voted for and realizing that the media lied to them. I remember distinctly several individuals I had a discussion with before the election... I told them that Joe Biden was for open borders. They told me this was nonsense and it wasn't true. I wonder what they think now...[This message has been edited by 82-T/A [At Work] (edited 01-29-2024).]

clearly the rump cult has mixed up joe with he who they worship
as they are describing the rump government style esp the demons as unassailable god in government needs demons to blame the screw ups of their minions on
It also explains perfectly the deranged rants of the demon possessed leader RUMP
IN FACT DEMONS IS THE ONLY LOGICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE EVIL Gop PROGRAMS
to bad there are no demons devils or other creatures as the only other way is the Gop are just pure evil with out any excuse[This message has been edited by ray b (edited 01-29-2024).]

It doesn't help that he surrounds himself with nutcases like his spiritual advisor, Paula White.
