Florida, once again, leads in environmental protection where the Democrats failed... (Page 1/1)

Most of you may remember that in Florida, when the Democrats ruled the state from the 1800s through 1998, the state of the Everglades was dire. Dozens of species neared extinction, and the waterways were **** ... either literally filled with it, or metaphorically so from the 1000s of chemicals that the Democrat house and senate had allowed to be dumped in the public waterways as a result of lobbying from the sugarcane / pineapple lobby.

Many of you may also know that in the 20 years since the Republicans have managed to vacate the Democrat KKK members, and eliminate much of the Democrat leadership, that strong efforts have been undertaken to increasingly limit the number of chemicals that are allowed to be dumped in the waterway. Such as more recently, the "Clean Waterways Act." This began as soon as Republicans managed to get a significant majority in the house and senate, and started passing bills, just as they did in 2016, 2017, and 2019.

But now there's a new bill to help clean up the mess that Democrats caused over the last 150 years. It's a new bill that was signed by DeSantis that includes more than half a billion dollars to improve the Florida waterways, the natural land corridor, wetland mitigation, restoration of the Evergades, and elimination of invasive species:

It's expected to provide 2.5 billion dollars in environmental restoration and protection over the next 5 years, and several billions more over the next 3 decades in the Seminole Indian Tribe gabling agreement.
