Shucks, and I bet all the parents were really looking forward to having teachers tell them how their teenagers like to get down.

Also, please elaborate on this 'sat gay' thing. Do you cross your legs and put your hands on one knee? Or it it more of a what you're sitting on kind of thing?

It is more the point that they want to hide it from them. If they got in to trouble for skipping or smoking the parents would get a call.

Some people called it "Don't say Gay" when DeSantis made it in to law the parental rights act.

I'll help jdv out here. It's the past tense of "sitting gay". I imagine "sit gay" would be a request/command, although the expected response could be up for debate.

Well now I'm not nearly as excited.

I don't personally see an issue with this, but maybe I assume I'm a good enough parent that it doesn't impact me? At least I sincerely hope that I provide a healthy enough household that I would never need to rely on the school to inform me of how my child feels about something this important. I'm trying to imagine a situation in which someone providing a healthy, stable atmosphere for their child would be negatively impacted by this law, and I'm coming up short.
