The problem this time is that the real GOP is not on the ballot. The Republican party has been taken over by a criminal cult leader. Anyone following him, including those who still call themselves Republican, are cult members.
It will take at least 4 years to rebuild the GOP ... if there is still an interest in rebuilding it.
