Will Trump fall into his own trap? (Page 1/3)
BingB AUG 01, 12:18 PM
When Trump was President he tried to buy vote to get elected a second time by giving many citizens a tax break. Since he did not cut government spending in any way these tax cuts cause addition national debt. Trump knew these tax cuts were not sustainable, so he made them temporary. And he thought he was being very clever by having them expire the year after he would leave office after his second term (2025). Many citizens will be shocked at how much theri taxes go up next year, but Trump thought he would be out of office and not have to deal with it.

But now it looks like he will be in office in 2025. And since he has fooled a lot of lesser educated voters into believing he is "fiscally conservative" it will be tough for him to deal with giving more new tax breaks.

Of course corporations don't have to worry if Trump is re-elected because the tax cuts he gave them were permanent.

You can generally find "a" clinical study to support the use of anything. But the National Institute of Health evaluated multiple valid studies and found no consistent improvement in properly controlled tests.

I have no idea what the comment about Covid and summertime had to do with anything.

How does he suggest paying for this tax cut?

Personally I don't understand why a person making a million dollars a year should not be taxed on his social security income.

Social Security is money that you payed into while you worked. Why should it be taxed at all?

Some people draw social security who never paid in. Some people pay in thousands of dollars and never draw anything.

How much you pay in does not determine the total you draw.
