on second thought we do need more enforcement on the cheating 1% esp on the 0.1% and every 0.001% aka billionaires
transfer the police/pigs to the IRS EPA Fxx AND TARGET THE REAL PROBLEM not the ghetto kids who may steal a few bucks that street cops chase
let go after the fake on line U's the charity scams the planed for profit bankrupt schemes follow the real money not the chump change crime the Gop wants the pigs to only suppress the attempts to subvert our elections with fake electors should be treason to do that like he did do no saying we want a recount or check this deal out no 4 years of every scam and scheme he can lie about that = treason = a death penalty worthy crime if there ever was one
how come the crime fighters NEVER WANT TO GO AFTER THE ONE WHO PAID THE BRIBES ? THE ONE WHO RIGS THE SYSTEM ? HIGH PRESSURE SALES CRIMES ? and not just the salesholes but the owners investors ect inc the crook lawyers who set up the scam
laws in America are biased to the 1% and against the poor totally

That's an example of "ignorant on purpose" that I talked about earlier. You choose the words you like and dismiss the others. You also dismiss 8 years of resent history. The current Republican party bears no resemblance to the one I grew up with. If it recovers and offers what it is traditionally known for, I will give it some consideration. In this election I must vote Democratic to save the GOP for the future.

Two highly intellectual responses here (joke). Anyway... I lied... what I posted above was the Democrat Party's platform in 1992. You can see the non-summarized version here: https://www.presidency.ucsb...ratic-party-platform
The point of emphasis is that the Democrat party has clearly been manipulated (as well as the Republican party). When I voted for Bill Clinton in 1996, the above points were still a mainstay of the party's platform. I hope this shows how wildly divergent the Democrat party has become in the past 25+ years. In 1992, both the Democrat and Republican party basically had more or less the same platform. Under Bush Sr., the party had become somewhat corrupted and became the party of big corporations... but those who manipulate more recently found it much easier to manipulate the left than the right. How right they were...[This message has been edited by 82-T/A [At Work] (edited 08-09-2024).]

This is the 2024 Republican platform as published. Much of it is rather different than what the Republican candidates are saying and have done publicly. I don't think any of it matters if a convicted felon, documented liar and wanna be king gets control. I trust 8 years of recent history.

Clinton killed it on economic policy. A budget surplus (say whaaaaat), huge advances on free trade, support for Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, welfare reform, taxes that spared the middle/lower class... "It's the economy, stupid" feels too fiscally conservative for today's Republican party.

I think your viewpoint is what we would refer to as... "intentionally ignorant."

Clinton did a fantastic job with the economy... along with the Republican Congress led by Newt Gingrich in the "Contract for America." It was a unique time when both parties came together to solve a unique challenge.
Trump's policies are nearly identical to those of Bill Clinton's... minus deficit spending. To be fair, the budget deficit was shrinking in his first two years... until it suddenly didn't with the extreme spending bills. Trump does have to take the blame for ultimately signing it... but we need to remember that he was effectively signing bills that the Democrat congress fed him... so Democrats are equally to blame. It was yet another example of bipartisanship, just in a bad way.
