It is so predictable that candidates that run for president as a Republican is going to be called fascist and Hitler. I think the American people have become desensitized to it. Yelling, "wolf", for 60 years tends to have that affect.

and many of the people who work directly with him daily

Anytime one starts a sentence with 'Yes but', that person has already lost the argument and ceded the point to the opponent.
It makes no difference what else is said after those two initial opening words......
