Eelction Shenanigans (Page 1/1)

As we built up to this election, and it looked very much like Trump might lose, his campaign and supporters started pre-seeding claims/stories/accusations of voting fraud/"cheating." I called it out as it was happening here as well.

I have not heard much about it after his victory. All of the build up for claims about fraud seem to be dissipating now that Trump has won.

Do you think Trump will focus on election reform as much post-victory as he did post-loss? If not, is election interference a phantom that only appears when Trump is losing?

What made you think Trump might lose ?

The reason trump and his campaign were suggesting voter fraud was and could be a problem, is because it happens and no one could really know to what extent. Added to that, election rules were being changed at the last minute by entities not empowered to make rules.

Well, there was a more concerted effort to watch the vote.

I do think election reform will still be focused on, though that is a State thing. Election interference happens, and has happened, for a very long time. The main stream media, being another are of the Democratic party does it all the time. As do foreign actors.

Edit to add ... all those wishing to affect the outcome of elections will always look for new ways to do it.
