Anyone selling Emission Delete now need a good lawyer on retainer. US EPA has gone after many companies, Huge Fine & Closing many & take all sales data etc then some states use that to go after buyers.
Examples use search in TOT or any web search. Most current Examples are selling Diesels tuning/parts for "rolling coal" but have gone after other tuners & delete parts makers for gas engines too.------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. Yes businesses that specialize in removing emissions control items will be/are on the radar for the EPA. If a person wants to remove emissions controls for "off road use" it is better done by the individual owning the vehicle but it is also legal to not have emissions equipment on race cars. .

That's only on a Trailer Queen whatever Never driving on the Street & have No Tags in many places. Or in some states the "Hod Rod" Tag rules might allow ED (I'm not digging thru all state tags & rules) but Way Limit on how you drive sim to Historic & Antique tags. If you have those Tags & violate the rules attach to them @ minimum can get Fines & loose the Tag. States can dig deeper causing way more problems like suspend you license or more criminal charges.
Even if a cop don't write a ticket when stopping Historic & other types, every time a Tag is entered by them for any reason, the entry is logged in several places in the system & Special Tags can get Flagged to look more by DMV etc. Worse now w/ more places that have Tag Reader @ way more places to list here feeding DMV etc more data where/when those Special Tags are used.
This is why one Rolling Coal case in NJ had 2 choices, Restore or Crush, because was still Registered and Tag as Normal vehicle with Emission Deletion then owner tried to play the Victim Card etc. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum6/HTML/127804.html
In these cases, Very likely had YT etc showing the truck smoking, Ebay list saying has ED, etc that's all watch by govrmnt or very likely reported to govrmnt by viewers, or anyone can just see the whatever violation & get a tag # or other ID to report to State "EPA," DMV or simply call 911 or non-emergency numbers like 311 in some states/cities.
Many times these cases never get Press by anyone because more common then most think & even local News don't care. Example: NYS has Shut Down & even Jailed Sticker Slappers for Decades because bad shops sold Inspection stickers for vehicles won't Pass Safety or later Emission testing but you rarely hear about that on local news or maybe you get a "sound bite" story because NYS want to "warn" other Sticker Slappers in an area.
