Connector part numbers help - C203 - C500 - new pins? (Page 2/3)

Only this part of the connector was made. To purchase contact FieroX. I have some also but I would have to charge more than he sells them for, so you might as well go directly to the source.

They are lacking the secondary terminal retention fork, but you can use your old one. Same thing for the missing back cover.

Use dielectric grease instead of the goo that was in the old ones.

He also has some new C203s

I know this is barely related, but ...

...do you know what C203 pin C is used for? It looks BRN/WHT or BLK/WHT in the car. I went through all of secion 8A in the service manual twice and that is the only pin who's function I don't know out of everything in C500 and C203. This is in a 1988 GT, manual transmission.

C203 pin C is the SES lamp or check engine light wire depending on what you want to call it. Dan

I'm missing part of page 8A-21-3, so I guess that's where its at. I should have glanced and the Iron Duke diagram since they share stuff like that.

Thank you!

The C500 is the same connector as the Fiero C100 up front just different colour wires and the C203 was used in many other GM vehicles up into the 90's including even trucks and the space shuttle/dust buster Trans Sport vans as well as the F body cars. Dan

Thanks Dan. I was starting to notice that yesterday. I have two service manuals, one for a 1988 Fiero and one for a 1995 Beretta. Then I also have the service manual Techline eSI thing on installed on my computer. With that you can just pick a car and then search the term "connector end" to get a quick list of what it all looks like for a car. My installation goes through 2005 with is just enough for the 3500 info I needed. I'm really familiar with the sensor connectors on the engine, and some of the interior ones ( I have a BCM swap under my belt - shameless site plug ). This whole engine new engine swap and changing to a Megasquirt ECU is pushing me. I already did one Megasquirt install, but I just made a foot long adapter harness to the car's OEM ECU connectors. I left a lot of wiring around that I didn't need and it was real messy. I'm trying to avoid that.

In the Beretta, it looks like C200 around the steering column is the same connector as C203 on the Fiero. Thats easy enough to find a in a junkyard.

I think I've got my wiring harness about finished on paper. It looks like I can keep the C500 connector on it's own harness apart from C203 if I move just a couple wires into C203 at pins I'm not using (coolant fan switch to HVAC connector and coolant gauge sensor to the ignition switch). I still can't believe they had 3 different coolant sensors/switches on the Fiero.

There is a chance that I made an error somewhere, but I think that there needs to be a correction to this list. I ordered all sizes of the male pins listed and none were the correct size for the wire to the starter solenoid. After measuring it and rechecking the part numbers, I think the part number that will work for the large pins is 12065196. It is a 4.8mm blade in my car. The large pins listed in the qutoe are a 6.3mm blade, which does not work for the starter terminal. The mid pins are a 2.8mm blade, so that doesn't work either.

Does anyone know the quantity of the pins required for these?

Anyone know if the center connector is available for the C500?

Anyone have a delphi part number on them?

Blast from the past, but yeah, the terminals listed above are NOT correct. the mid pins on the bulkhead are not metripack 280's. so if someone has the correct pins, it would be a huge help/

this is the closest I have found so far, but it looks too wide based on the picture.
