Dried up? There's nothing wet going through the intake manifold. (ie It's not like a carburetor.) No need to take any of it apart just for the gaskets.[This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 10-10-2016).]

' If it's not leaking, I would leave it alone. The intake gaskets on 2.8s are not known to be problematic. If it's leaking oil, up high, I would check the distributor O-ring and valve cover gaskets, in that order. With only 20K, I would really be surprised if anything is leaking.

If you can just 'unscrew' I can send you one off my parts engine, just cover shipping. If you cant get it out cleanly you will most likely need to drill it out, and helicoil it. Then I can still send you another one [This message has been edited by greenturnedblue (edited 02-13-2023).]

I don't want to remove it, i's good. I do have one broken off that the shop doing the valve shop will remove. Thanks for offer. I will just get a bolt of the same size and cut off the head and machine the top like the others.
