This - Bondic works great.

In the case of the console skeleton, you need to remove it from the car or do it after the sun sets. Those darned UV adhesives are pretty sensitive to light. If done in daylight, they can set up before you get the pieces stuck together.

Just resurrecting an old thread on problems that never go away...

Often the center skeleton has the mounting holes that break away for the heater controls and radio mounting.
So while it's a pain, it's not bad enough to need a whole new skeleton. What to do?

What I've been doing, is breaking away the heavily fractured portions, and fix them with JB PlasticWeld.
It's a 2-part epoxy putty you knead together, then form to rebuild the broken out areas.
Once cured, drill a new hole where needed and you're good to go.

pretty sure the skeleton is ABS plastic, you can repair it with ABS cement available in the plumbing section at most home improvement stores.

I invited Lou Dias to trash me in my own thread, he refused. sorry. if he trashes your thread going after me. I tried.

The best fix for this is to buy a 3D printed console from mmeyer86gt/gtp in the mall and save yourself a neverending headache.

A good option - but I only had to fix a couple of cracked holes to fix with JB PlasticWeld.

It can be used to make new recessed screw mounts on the back of dash trim panels.
One had broken on my gauge set. I repaired it and used black marker to color in the hole.

I also had to repair my center console when one lighter mount had broken off.
I used the putty to build a new raised area that I could drill a mounting hole in.

Not my car, just borrowed this picture to show what needed repairing.
