I've been curious about how closely, if at all, the '00-'05 Northstar wheel resembles one half of the LS wheel.

It may be possible to write a crank decoder for your signal... as long as it can be mapped to a standard missing-tooth wheel.

Comparing this picture to the log I posted above, the visible range appears to match the 105 degree to 150 degree. without more visible, it's hard to say.

Edit: on further inspection of the wheels in BOTH pictures, I'd find it hard to belive that the shortstar isn't also an LS1 wheel.

The LX9 wheel is already mapped, it's available for use in the RC-14 firmware, but right now, it only works for semi sequential with non-stock camshafts. I'm actually using it in my car.
