Making my own spark plug wires. Good idea? (Page 2/2)

I've ordered a set of the Standard Motor Products Pro Series Ignition Wires. They are cheap, arrive here next week and will undoubtedly be better than the (sparking) wires I have now. I can always switch to the more expensive MSD wires later. I just need to get my Fiero running properly ASAP so I can get it through inspection.

The Standard Pro-Series wires are all you need.

Okay, so I didn't make my own cables, but I did make these on my 3D printer. 😁

What type filament?
Because many plastics don't last long exposed to high heat, ozone, oil/grease, etc in an engine bay even if you don't drive daily.
Is why many things like wiring plugs are types like PP or Nylon derivatives.

PLA. Ik know it's probably not going to last very long, mostly due to the heat and because PLA is a thermoplast. But it was nice having another excuse to use the 3D printer. 😁
