I am not a big fan of the electric steering column, but like most things in life, they have a place. Yours may be one of them. The electric assist will help you turn your wheels, but of course that also means applying much more load on the steering rack and its bearings. I understand the pain in the but it takes to install power steering, but honestly it is one of the best modifications I have done to my car. I favor the the fast ratio Camaro "Z51" rack. A much easier to install electric column rack will not change the ratio but will make it better to drive at low speed. Fighting the steering is no fun. Han fun with that cool car, stay safe.
